Cutan® is our waterproof/breathable technology, developed in our lab, tried and tested extensively in the wilderness around our office in northern Sweden. We started to work with Cutan® when we took the decision to completely move to PTFE-free membranes to become fluorocarbon-free in production. Our Cutan® fabrics are durable, waterproof, breathable and stretchy.
The water repellent (DWR) in the outer shell in Cutan Super Stretch® and Cutan Stretch RP® is PFOA-free. We use C6 fluorocarbon technology for proofing but are phasing out fluorocarbons from all our products from September 2017 and onwards.
