Head of Experience Design & Guides

Fred Buttard

Fred is a French IFMGA Mountain Guide with 25 years’ experience leading ski trips and expeditions around the world, with a focus on northern Scandinavia. He has been guiding in Finnmark since 2007 and also pioneered trips in the Swedish mountains. At KMX, Fred designs our journeys and oversees our team of guides. You can contact him with questions about destinations, local conditions, weather and snow, history and culture, or technical advice on skiing and kit.

Marije, from the Netherlands, is passionate about creating seamless and memorable experiences. With a background in event coordination, from international SUP events to years in office and retail management, she brings care, optimism, and a hands-on approach to everything she organises. Yahnny San Luis-Wallgren

Yahnny is a Filipina–Polynesian American with over 20 years’ experience in hospitality, adventure operations, and endurance sports around the world. Before moving to Sweden, she managed a luxury adventure company in Hawai‘i and led projects in more than 50 countries, from Costa Rica to Iceland and Türkiye. Erik Wallgren is an outdoor professional with extensive experience in planning and executing events across water, ice, and snow. With a background spanning from special forces service to entrepreneurship and the founding of several outdoor ventures, he thrives in his role as Head of Operations at KMX - overseeing strategic and tactical planning, on-site operational support, and remote base setups.
