The imagery for Off The Mountain® Spring/Summer 22 was created together with Slam Jam and photographer Rory Griffin.

Rory Griffin is a photographer and director based in London. He is also editor-in-chief of Orienteer Mapazine and no stranger to the outdoors and shares the same interest in highly refined mountaineering equipment as us.

” The creative vision behind this lies as an inspiration from OTM core, gear made for the city, the everyday, commuting to work or mini city hikes with friends. There was a lot of inspiration from the surrounding city of Zurich - a clean metropolis aesthetic composed of glass & concrete, distinct architecture surrounded by mountains & outdoor spaces, sat on a lake - the perfect location to test out the gear. Throughout featuring signage & semiotics, placing ourselves within the city, clearly, modes of transportation & city shapes & textures.”

“The design as Klättermusen features the asymmetrical zip which reflected within the city through geometrical shapes, as this is SS, we wanted to feel overall warm & sunny, a feeling of exploring the city and surrounding environments from sunrise to sunset, at one with the elements & having the right gear for it. It was important to highlight the colour palette within plain or complimenting textures from blue skies & glass, waterfronts & concrete backdrops.”

“After meeting the Klättermusen team, visiting its home and taking the gear around the world with me - the products are very diverse, both in their own sense as there is something for every occasion & that they feel fresh and different to other brands, I like mixing the outdoor gear with some smart silhouettes as generally the fit, colours and overall feel is quite elevated and smart - I also love the attitude of the brand, functionality is key, above any aesthetics and the aesthetics just follow. I think OTM is a great initiative and project that I can’t wait to see develop, I personally wear my Nal windbreaker hat every day.”
