Verbier

Klättermusen went to Verbier to visit Melody Sky and Tero Repo in their hometown, which they were kind enough to show us. Both photographers participated in the A Different Perspective campaign we launched in the fall. Additionally, we've brought Daniel Bernstål from Sweden to complete our team of photographers.

We were there to create an outdoor exhibition with the three photographers’ work and host a screening of the short film A Different Perspective. The film follows the three photographers, capturing each other's work on the mountain. Following the screening, we had a panel discussion with the three action photographers, where we delved into their lives, perspectives, and approaches.

The exhibition was on display for a week in one of the busiest squares in the town and was followed by a silent auction of all of the art pieces. All earnings were donated to ‘Protect our Winters.

Winner of the Photo Contest

Hampus Lundin won the A Different Perspective photo competition, and as part of his prize, we invited him to spend a weekend in Verbier, where he received some pro tips from our three professional photographers. Hampus joined Melody Sky and Daniel Bernstål on a guided tour of the mountains dedicated to capturing amazing photographs. Together, they completed a beautiful ski tour and enjoyed a traditional Swiss lunch before waiting for the sun to set on top of the mountain. They then skied down in the dark. It was an incredible day filled with learning opportunities, advice, and inspiration for Hampus. He even got to model for some of the photos.
