Safety toggle and snapbuttons
This garment features a safety toggle, snap buttons, and a full-length Velcro strip along the front. These components provide an alternative method of closing the front of the jacket or coat, aside from the main zipper.
Together, these features enhance functionality and safety, especially in environments where a zipper might be difficult to operate or could fail. This alternative closure system ensures the garment remains securely fastened and provides additional protection against wind, rain, or snow.
Product Material
Nifelheim is made from Levitend, Klättermusen’s proprietary 30D ripstop fabric crafted from 100% pre-consumer recycled polyamide (52 g/m²). It is bluesign® approved, entirely PFC-free, and finished with a supple DWR that provides reliable weather resistance while maintaining breathability. Durable polyamide reinforcement panels add extra strength in high-wear areas.
The jacket is insulated with 90% goose down and 10% goose feather, offering a fill power of 750 for superior warmth and compressibility. The down is bluesign® approved and RDS-certified, guaranteeing ethical sourcing and animal welfare. Additional Primaloft® padding in the shoulders and sleeves provides extra insulation and moisture resistance where needed.
Levitend and all materials are selected with sustainability in mind, combining recycled fibers and certified components without compromising technical performance or durability.
