Trip Overview*
Day 1: Arrive in Kiruna and transfer to Kebnekaise Mountain Station
Travel from Kiruna to Nikkaluokta, then snowmobile to the mountain station. Settle in and meet your guides over a welcome dinner.
Day 2: First descents in Tarfala Valley
Journey into Tarfala Valley, climb over Kebnetjåkka plateau, and enjoy your first alpine descents before reaching the cabin.
Day 3: Glacier touring
Explore Kebnepakteglaciären and Isfallsglaciären, navigating crevasses and steep walls. Return to the cabin for a sauna.
Day 4: Ride a legendary couloir
Climb Kaskasatjåkka and descend Liljetoppsrännan, one of Sweden’s most celebrated ski lines.
Day 5: Explore surrounding valleys
Chase fresh snow in nearby valleys with your guides, balancing longer tours and shorter runs near the cabin.
Day 6: Summit Kebnekaise
Ascend Sweden’s highest peak and descend Jökelbäcken, a 1,000-metre glacial run.
Day 7: Final run from Kebnekaise Mountain Station
Climb a nearby peak for one last dramatic descent before returning to the station for a farewell dinner.
Day 8: Return to Kiruna
Snowmobile back to Nikkaluokta, then transfer to Kiruna Airport or train station for departure.
