Aboard Skydancer, a 73-foot schooner crewed by ski and sail pioneers who have circumnavigated the globe, you will reach peaks and fjords few ever see. Guided by IFMGA-certified experts, you will chase the best snow each day, then unwind on your floating basecamp with warm meals, stories and the rhythm of the Arctic sea.
Trip Overview
Day 1: Arrive in Alta and board the Skydancer
Transfer to Øksfjord and settle aboard the Skydancer. Enjoy a welcome drink and briefing before your Arctic adventure begins.
Day 2: Tverrfjord exploration
Skin and ski across varied terrain, from mellow tours to glacier descents, all with fjord views.
Days 3-6: Peaks of Finnmark
Each day we explore new fjords and new remote peaks. Routes are tailored daily, from powder-filled glades to steep couloirs, with evenings aboard the boat for meals and relaxation.
Day 7: Farewell descent
Take one last memorable run before returning to Øksfjord for a farewell dinner aboard the Skydancer.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer back to Alta Airport after breakfast, with time for a final glimpse of the Arctic coast.
