Who's this trip for?

For riders who want a step up from the basics and feel ready for our Progressive level, which is our mid‑level. You have several tours behind you and want a light expedition where you refine core skills such as simple camp work and moving confidently in mixed conditions. You manage steady climbs and long days without lifts or marked trails. You look for first lines, reliable snow and the sense of adventure that comes with remote terrain and weather‑shaped days.

A small group of skiers ascends a broad, snow-covered ridge in a line, silhouetted against a soft, overcast sky, with distant mountains fading into the background.

What will your days look like?

You move through one of the most remote parts of Finnmark, travelling from fjords to high ridgelines and broad mountain bowls. Most days mean steady climbs and several hours outside, with ascent shaped by the snowpack and the group’s energy. Two certified guides adjust the plan as weather shifts and use boat or snowmobile access when the terrain lies deeper in the range. When conditions allow, longer or steeper lines come into consideration, though never as an obligation.

Warm sunset light falls on distant snow-covered mountains across a calm bay, framed between bright red wooden cabins in the foreground, with a thin layer of snow covering the ground and a few dark shrubs scattered near the shoreline.Ge feedback om BizChat

Where will we stay?

You will stay in a small cabin site in Nuvsvåg, a quiet coastal settlement set between steep peaks and open fjords in the wider Loppa area. The cabins are simple and comfortable, with meals prepared for you on site and a sauna available after long days out. If conditions allow and the group is interested, you may move to an advanced base camp for a night, sleeping higher in the mountains with basic comforts and a campfire meal.

A snowboarder rides through deep powder in a dense forest of snow‑covered trees, carving a turn down a narrow path surrounded by heavy winter snow.

What are the conditions like?

Weather shifts quickly between coast and mountains, so plans adjust with it. You can expect a mix of snowfall, clearer spells and steady winds, with spring bringing longer days and a stable snowpack across both fjord‑side slopes and higher glacial terrain. The mountains run from sea to summit, offering changing surfaces and fresh lines when conditions align. The result is simple. A landscape that moves. Space to explore. Classic Arctic variability.

A small fishing boat and several docked vessels sit in a quiet, icy harbor, surrounded by snowy mountains partially obscured by low clouds and winter mist.

Wild Lines and Shifting Skies

Super cool and massively remote location. Lots of tough weather which made the trip more dynamic than planned but the team did a great job adapting [...]. Really expert guide work by the expedition leaders.
