Hugin is your ideal versatile jacket for fast-paced alpine mountaineering or trekking when conditions can change in an instant. It combines the benefits both a baselayer and midlayer to create a warm, lightweight and quick-drying jacket to be worn alone or with your favorite shell.

The Hugin Zip Hoodie is constructed from our Norna® fabric, which provides a soft and dry feeling towards the skin due to its high moisture-wicking effect, mixed with merino wool for light warmth and comfort. The chest and side of the hood have been reinforced with our lightweight, WindStretch™ fabric for added protection without sacrificing breathability. With extra reinforcement fabric on the elbows and back for durability, highly placed side pockets to avoid interference with harnesses and backpack carrying systems, seamless shoulders to protect from abrasion, reflective details for added safety, and a hood that fits snuggly under your helmet. Giving you the flexibility and functionally you need for any alpine adventure.

Advantages

  • Wind protected front core and around ears
  • Reinforcement fabric at hood, facings and front chest
  • Reinforced elbows and back
  • Two-way front zipper
  • Two high-fitted zipped hand pockets
  • Snug-fitting hood
  • Reflective details at center front and lower back
  • Seamless shoulders and chin guard to avoid abrasion

The Hugin Series

Hugin pairs together two different fabrics to provide all the protection you need for fast-paced activities in exposed conditions. Warmth and moisture wicking combined wind resistance and durability makes Hugin a great choice for many outdoor activities.

The Mass Flow Resistance System

The Mass Flow Resistance (MFR) system helps you decide which wind and waterproof equipment to select for your next adventure. MFR combines the technical aspect of how easily air can pass through a fabric, and how much surrounding air will cool you, as well as how efficiently heat will be transported away.
