Meet Mountain Rescue Andre who puts Klättermusen equipment to the ultimate test.

"I grew up in the mountains and I continue to spend a lot of my time there."

My name is Andre and I’m born and raised inside of the northern Polar Circle in Sápmi. In the summer’s midnight sun, I work in the field with environmental projects of conservation and growth of biodiversity and carbon dioxide reduction. During the winter I work as Mountain Rescue in Norway.

I grew up in the mountains and I continue to spend a lot of my time there. Snowboarding, splitoarding, powsurfing and cross country skiing lies close to my heart. When the summer arrives, I’m drawn to the ocean for surfing and paddling. The past years I’ve also devoted myself to mountain running.

I belong to a happy group of people that have the honor of evaluating Klättermusen’s products, and nowadays I wear it from head to toe. No matter if I’m going on an alpine ascent with a split board or doing mountain running, I’ll bring a few well chosen pieces.

I use the base layers all year round, the shells in the winter and the backpacks are really put to the test when I do field work during hikes.

What I’ve used the most are my Freke Salopettes. It’s an amazing shell pant for the long and cold winters, no matter what mission you are on.

My Atle 2.0 is my dearest piece. It wraps you like a duvet cover and makes sure you stay warm from October to May.

Urur 23L is my everyday hero. It can be easy to underestimate it, but it’s suitable for a lot of activities and it is so well designed.
