Product Developer Apparel

100%, Start date 1st of August 2022
Based in Åre

This is a substitute position for 12 months with possible continuance within the design team.


Job description:

Do you want to be part of the Klättermusen design process to develop new products from idea to production and make sure that the inline collection is updated to each new season.

An exciting, challenging job with great variety and development potential. We are looking for someone who is well versed in construction and fit, good eye for details and finding technical solutions, used to work with functional products and passionate about design.

It is a creative role but also requires a certain sense of structure and planning to meet timelines and deadlines throughout the development period.


Responsibilities:

  • Improve the inline collection
    • Secure that the fit of the collection is updated according to Klättermusen directions. Keep track and ensure that the collection is to the highest standard in terms of quality and workmanship.
  • Seasonally responsibilities for core collection
    • Colour sketches to factories, branding and workbook.
    • Measure and evaluate SMS and comment according to timeline.
    • Order Size set and PPS if needed.
    • Make sure that Tech pacs and pdf instruction is updated
    • Order and handle fittings with models.
    • Work with patternmaker to ensure the fit for new development and the inline collection.
    • See to that material specifications are updated with correct zipper colours, stitching colours and embroidery threads.
    • Work directly with factories to ensure that have the latest instr.

  • Tests and testers
    • Order wash test for core collection if needed
    • Order product tests if needed
    • Cooperate with customer service to ensure the quality

  • E&D (Explore and design/development)
    • Work with design to develop new styles in the collection.
    • Work with design to research new styles.
    • Make instruction pdf and material specification.
    • Handle fittings during proto typing
    • Order product tests if needed
    • Communicate with factories during prototyping both from office and to visit the factories to ensure quality and that they are following the instr.
    • Make sure that the factories are keeping the proto schedules.
    • Work with production to ensure the target prices.

  • PLM
    • Responsible for PLM and maintaining good structure and workflow within the system.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience to develop and design technical apparel.
  • Deep knowledge of Adobe suite.
  • Experienced within patternmaking including size gradings.
  • Experience within Microsoft excel
  • Business-level proficiency in written and oral English communication.
  • Practical knowledge of a PLM (product lifecycle management) system.
  • A humble team player with great communication and organisation skills.
  • For this position you need to be curious, detailed and solution oriented and an outdoor enthusiast.

Social Media Manager

Klättermusen is seeking to hire a passionate Social Media Manager to join the Brand and Marketing team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Marketing.

About the role

The Social Media Manager at Klättermusen is responsible for the day to day of our social media channels, maintaining a two-way communication with our community, and following our two overall Marketing Communication and Ecom Activation plans.

The Social Media manager will oversee and coordinate organic content as well as digital advertising throughout our channels together with our media agency.

The Social Media Manager will be a key part of achieving our brand communication and commercial objectives in social media channels.

The role will be based in our office in Stockholm with occasional traveling to our office in Åre and elsewhere in Scandinavia.


What you'll do

  • Daily management of all social platforms/channels: Instagram, Facebook, You Tube and LinkedIn
  • Develop and publish editorial social content across our platforms to drive follower growth and engagement.
  • Oversee and coordinate organic content as well as digital advertising throughout our channels together with our media agency.
  • Write creative copy and adapt content (adjust voice/tone) to suit different social media channels, audiences, and campaigns.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines
  • Set-up and manage key performance and evaluation KPIs.
  • Monthly reporting on KPIs for business reviews.
  • Create, manage, and optimize our social media calendar across multiple platforms, making room for reactive or quick-win opportunities when necessary.
  • Manage and directly engage with social media communities by responding to posts and developing discussions, keeping a close eye on community sentiment, and trending content.
  • Monitor mentions of our brands across all social media platforms to identify opportunities, escalate issues, and support with crisis communications where necessary.
  • Work closely and collaboratively across marketing, PR and content teams to champion social-first ideas and execute activations, and strategies.
  • Continuously ideate and innovate to find new and exciting ways to engage audiences to drive awareness, conversation, and affinity for our brand.
  • Research and stay up to date of all social media trends, platforms, developments, vendors.


Your Background / What you have

  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools.
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask

Must haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with B2C social media marketing and content development
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Later)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
  • Strong data analysis, marketing, communication, social media, brand management, and collaboration skills.
  • Must be effective at conducting campaigns on all major social media platforms as well as tracking, and analyzing results, transforming them into new tactics and strategies where possible.
  • Deep understanding of the power of connection and relationships within the community

Junior Graphic Designer

About the position:
Klättermusen is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team in Stockholm.

The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creation of visual assets for print and digital delivery, reporting to the Global Head of Marketing. Candidates must have a diverse portfolio, strong organization skills, and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.


What you'll do:

  • Design digital & print-ready artworks, i.e. web banners, print advertisements, in-store displays, presentations, newsletters, and social media content
  • Develop light motion graphics and make video edits in Adobe After Effects & Premiere
  • Assist with photo editing and retouching for product and campaign images
  • Assist with production logistics (for campaign shoots and print/production)


Qualifications:

  • Some higher education in graphic design, visual communication, or related area
  • Up to 3 years of working experience as a graphic designer
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, with some knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Print production knowledge (an understanding of how to set print-ready artworks to printers)
  • Experience in file formatting for web and social media

Operations Manager

About the position

We are currently looking to appoint a full-time Operations Manager to lead our ongoing operational excellence projects as we continue to grow our brand and market shares. The Operations Manager at Klättermusen will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of our value chain is done with the outmost care and attention; from production and to end consumer delivery and aftercare. This role includes overall responsibility of our people operations, as well as directly responsible for our Logistics, Order and Service teams. 

The success criteria for the job is to be analytic, proactive and goal-oriented, to work independently towards overall business targets, striving to continue raising the bar on the excellence of our operations while maintaining the sustainable balance between passion and performance that characterises Klättermusen. 

The position is based in Stockholm or Åre, and reports to CFO. 


What you'll do

  • Overall responsibility of People Operations at Klättermusen, as well as specifically for the Logistics, Order and Service teams.
    • Personnel management, including new talent acquisition and onboarding, performance reviews, continuous education and training, and other HR matters. 
    • Team management, including KPI setting and tracking, monthly reporting, day-to-day activities and project-based tasks.
       
  • Overall responsibility of Logistics, Order and Service teams and processes to ensure excellence-in-execution service. 
    • Control and active management over all operational aspects, including planning, in- and outbound shipments, warehousing, and invoicing matters. 
    • Oversee sample and seasonal bulk in- and outbounds and ensuring efficient flow of goods. 
    • Oversee customer queries and feedback to proactively propose and carry-out improvements. 
    • Support internal and external activities required to improve service experience to customers. 

  • Responsibility for relationships and day-to-day management of operational partners, including: 
    • Logistics partners for shipping, transport distribution, and warehousing of goods. 
    • Q&A, Order and Service software partners as well as after-care service providers. 
    • Personnel unions and human resource systems. 

  • Overall responsibility for consistently identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and cost-saving projects in operational areas of systems and processes, in coordination with other internal teams. 

 

What you have

  • 5-8+ years’ experience within operations management, human resources, logistics and customer service 
  • Experience within a multi-channel retail company including own e-com and physical stores a big plus 
  • Disciplined, structured and well-organised by nature 
  • Analytical with the ability to multi-task efficiently and successfully
  • Documented experience as a manager 
  • Good knowledge within MS Excel and ERP system a must
  • Fluent in business-level spoken and written communication English and Swedish a must
