Equipment Introduction
This a 75 + 15 L backpack made for longer treks and hikes with a heavier load, where comfort and relief are in high demand.
This is ensured by our adjustable and flexible “Carry On Bones” system that distributes the weight of the backpack on your bones, rather than on your muscles, to counteract muscle fatique. The shoulder straps are fixed from one attachment point and are equipped with Butterfly Bridge technique, which makes them laterally adjustable and are easy to fit on any pair of shoulders. The hip belt is also fixed at one attachment point to follow your hips movement. This way you don’t have to lift the weight of the backpack with every step you take, to ensure freedom of movement. The carrying system is padded with a comfortable foam that is molded to fit your shoulders and hips and is equipped with a mesh lining for ventilation. Ymer is made in Retina® 400 denier, which makes it a very durable pack.
Everything you need in your Ymer is easily accessible when packing smart. The inner compartment can be reached from the top, from the bottom or from the L-shaped zip in front. There are also several pockets on the outside of the pack, as well attachment points and bungee systems for storage and adaptability.
